After graduating of at the University of Texas she moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of the profession of professional acting. It was her turn to play in the role of Raven Reyes, the mechanic of The 100's science-fiction series. This gave her an enormous jump in her career. The character was initially an ordinary role.
